Gli URO sono un trio strumentale che suona un math-rock articolato, veloce e bipolare.
I .corridoiokraut. sono un duo elettronico che manipola suoni galleggianti, ovattati e rimbombanti.
In “Pocca!” le cifre stilistiche dei due gruppi convergono.
L’idea iniziale del disco è quella di uno split, salvo poi trasformarsi in qualcosa di più complesso. I brani si invadono reciprocamente, sprofondano l’uno nell’altro, si intrecciano come le dita di due mani. Così, le sfuriate al fulmicotone sono lambite da rigurgiti drone, i controtempi quasi ossessivi vengono smussati e umanizzati da voci sospese nell’etere, sussulti spaziali fanno da contraltare a liberatorie bordate noise.
Cinque tracce che oscillano fra psichedelia, kraut, ambient, post-rock e costruzioni matematiche.
La combinazione di due identità musicali, apparentemente opposte fra loro, ha dato vita ad un risultato che si discosta da entrambe pur rimanendo ad esse fortemente legato.
“Pocca!” è un disco fatto di estremi che finiscono col combaciare, unico nella sua dualità.
